The start of a new week!
I guess you can say that it was a little bit of an emotional day for the team. We said goodbye to Juan Tomas and to our dear friends that we made in this beloved town. At around 8 we drove for an hour and a half to a quiet town called Vasca. After unpacking the team split up and did VBS and painting the community centre. There was a different culture of kids in this town than in Juan Tomas, which made it rather difficult to plan games and Bible stories. After VBS and painting we enjoyed some free time with which we made a pit stop at the local convenience store which was super cheap!!! After a delicious plantain super we heard a beautiful testimony from our hosts and hurried off to the 7:30 church service. I must say that it was rather an interesting cultural experience
