Today was our last full day in Juan Tomas. We attended the local church after a much enjoyed breakfast! It was such a beautiful blessing to worship with unity in Christ alongside brothers and sisters in another part of the world, no matter who we are, where we come from, or what language we speak. In the afternoon the boys and girls split up into breakout sessions, where we could share some incredible stories and testimonies, and bring our thoughts to God in prayer. Afterwards, we had a great time playing baseball with lots of the youth and enjoying the evening sun when it isn't so strong! In the evening, we gathered with everybody to say goodbye. It was a bittersweet time, sharing all our highlights from the week like VBS, playing games, making friends, and having such meaningful community together, but also remembering that our time here, creating these great memories, is coming to an end. We closed the night with some volleyball (in case you're wondering, we didn't improve much:)) and games!
