Villageworks Cambodia is a social enterprise, that believes in creating an environment where people discover their passion, dignity and self sufficient, allowing them to unleash their full potential.
Their aim is to give an opportunity to people with disability to lead a respectful and self-determined life. They achieve this through creating economic opportunities; employing people with disabilities and helping them to become professionals through training and providing skills in handcraft and workmanship.
Villageworks employs over 60 staff in their two locations, with an additional 30 homeworkers; employees who have received training and now manufacture from their own homes.
Fair Trade and Sustainability are core values of Villageworks, and they sell their product within Cambodia, and Internationally. Each year they recycle over 30 tones of material, using it in the products they produce.
