Ginnie’s role in Teams & Project Services at Hungry For Life involves all the logistics of getting a team to and from the field. This includes creating handbooks and PowerPoints that inform and educate team members; completing budgets and invoices to ensure the team is adequately financed; and booking flights and accommodations for team travel.
Teams & Project Services is the perfect fit for Ginnie’s skill set. With her previous thirteen years experience as an administrative assistant in the private school system, she is well equipped for the task.
In early 2001 Ginnie’s love for travel and desire to “do something” for the world’s less fortunate led her to South America. Her heart was broken when she met a 13-year-old girl in an orphanage in Peru as she thought about her own 13-year-old daughter with a family and a home. On a missions trip to Bolivia in 2002 her desire to help the helpless was reinforced as she visited a local missionary and worked in an orphanage. Those trips fanned the flame and shortly after she began her involvement with Hungry For Life.
Ginnie is married with three adult children. She loves her family, the outdoors, photography, reading and travel. In her spare time you will find her hiking a mountain trail with camera in hand.
