God has given me a passion for working with numbers and administrative tasks, which I will use here at HFL for his Glory.
After volunteering at Capernwray Hall in England (after being a Bible school student there), Derek felt God calling him to work at a Christian non-profit organization, using his gifts with numbers and administration along with his business degree. Since then, he worked at another Bible school in Quebec as a bookkeeper for one year. After being back home for another year, he was approached by Dave Blundell to work at HFL, and is currently volunteering as he raises his own support.
Derek enjoys reading (he is part way through his Dad’s John Grisham collection), playing video games, and watching movies & sports. He also enjoys going for walks alone or with friends, playing board games, and playing pickup sports like floor hockey and soccer.
