Haiti Bible Mission (HBM) currently has four church plants in and around the city of Jeremie. Their heart is to plant churches where there is a need and develop pastors who are on fire for Christ and able to lead their flocks and foster healthy growth and outreach within each church. This is an effective way to reach many people in the community with the hope of Christ while using indigenous pastors from their own community.

New roof protects Marfranc church
We are so happy to see the roof up on the Church at Marfranc!! The walls and floor will be finished soon, but it is already being used for services!
Originally, through food distributions that HBM did after the most recent earthquake, relationships and connections were built. Through those relationships and sharing the gospel, some people met Jesus! They also met pastor Felix who showed them that the church needed help, both for someone to replace him and for help with the physical church building.
The church was small and under a tarp. Pastor Felix said that this was the only Bible believing church in the area.
With our partnership, HBM has been building this new space for the church to meet! Let's pray for this church in Marfranc, and the relationship Haiti Bible Mission has with these brothers and sisters as they partner to finish the building and to find the right leader to take Pastor Felix's place.
