The day started early with a uneventful and safe flight to Kisumu, followed by a 1.5 hour drive through the beautiful Kenyan countryside. Upon our arrival at our final destination for the week, we unpacked and enjoyed a light lunch. With much anticipation and excitement we were off to visit our first two widows on program. Part of the team visited in the home and reading Isaiah 40:28-31 followed by a meditation, sharing each others stories and singing praises to our Heavenly Father. Outside you could hear the giggles and enjoyment of the children sharing a Bible storiy with some of the other team members and playing a very energetic soccer game. Hearing the children read the Bible story themselves in English and sing was so heartwarming. How much we can see how our Lord and Saviour is working so mightily in so many hearts on side of the globe. Praise God from whom all blessings flow!
