Cyclone in Kalangala, Uganda
Help families devastated by a Cyclone in Kalangala, Uganda
On March 15, 2025, a powerful cyclone devastated Bugala Island in Uganda’s Kalangala District, leaving hundreds of families in crisis. Over 300 homes were destroyed, lives were lost, and many were injured. Among the hardest hit are parents who have lost everything—including their livelihoods in agriculture. Our partner, Michael Masembe, is working to support these families by helping keep students in school and provide shelter during this emergency.
Your gift today will provide immediate relief, including food, safe shelter, and continued education for these children at Lake Victoria Education Center. Please consider donating now to bring hope and support to families as they rebuild and provide ongoing education to their children.
