Simple Acts of Kindness (SAK) works together with a local school in Addis Ababa to provide nutritional meals for 45 students. Children from low-income families do not typically have the luxury of attending school. They have little possibility of living better lives than their parents. The feeding programs ensure that these students have access to food, are able to enjoy going to school, complete school, and have better lives both in the present and in the future. Students, their families, and teachers are grateful for the meals.
SAK is also able to provide a cup of milk and a banana for all 300 students in the school by partnering with local institutions and individuals. Together with their local volunteers, SAK wants to improve the program by providing extra help in the kitchen and someone to monitor the 45 children in the meal program.
