Trevor
completed his apprenticeship in Plumbing and Gas in 1997 at BCIT.
From there
he went to Calgary, and owned and operated a plumbing and heating business for
10 years. His passion for real estate
investment led him to Playa del Carmen, Mexico in 2008, where he spent one and a half years
selling real estate on the Caribbean. Studying Spanish and
becoming friends with the locals, Trevor grew to appreciate the Mexican culture
that revolved around friends, family, relationships and a slower-paced
lifestyle. Seeing the injustice among the low-income Mexican people due to wealthy developers and tourists in such
a rich city brought Trevor to HFL in 2009.
