David`s ministry--and passion--is educating pastors in the developing world, who often have no formal training. What does God desire for his people? "I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will lead you with knowledge and understanding" (Jeremiah 3:15).
Graduating with a Bachelor of
Religious Education from Ontario Bible College, he has earned Master of
Divinity and Master of Theology degrees from Regent College.
Ordained with the C&MA in 1978, David
pastored four churches, and has served as an elder at two others.
David taught TEE courses for Canadian Bible College and ministered short term in the Philippines and Nigeria before joining Hungry for Life in 2005, to continue teaching pastors in places HFL is working. He is also writing a curriculum for the HFL community transformation program, which North American pastors can use when travelling to developing nations to pass on their experience.
David and Grace have two adult children, Nathan and Charis, and like to go camping and canoeing. David always enjoys a good story-both novels and films.
