After graduating from the University of Utah in 2006, Dana has taught second grade for four years in Murray, Utah. She knew it was only a matter of time before she would be joining in with an organization like Hungry for Life. Through teaching and volunteering, God had already been cultivating in her a more giving and compassionate heart towards His people. Soon, God's providence opened the doors for Dana to pursue her passion for international relief with HFL USA part-time.
Her international missions experience begins with a trip to Haiti in October 2009. With lots of prayer and a grateful heart, she is thrilled to begin this new adventure. She and her husband, Matt, have been married for 5 years and live in Cottonwood Heights, Utah. Together, they enjoy exploring Utah's breathtakingly beautiful mountains with their dog, Scout, spending time with family and friends, and taking lots of pictures!
