Located in the centre of the west side of the country, this city has a population of 2.25 million people. Since 1991, unemployment rates have skyrocketed in the Transcarpathia region forcing many of the men to journey to neighbouring countries for employment. Social security simultaneously fell with the fall of the communist system forcing the elderly into the streets to beg for food and money.

Widow & Family Care
Our goal is to improve the health and general well-being of the widowed and poor families by providing them with food, clothing, and compassionate care as well as to encourage the local Christians by sharing Christ’s love with them through the means of fellowship.
