Aid Container on the Way to Haiti

This past week Hungry For Life staff and volunteers loaded a 20 ft container bound for Haiti. Through the many different partnerships both in Canada and Haiti, we were able to facilitate one container that will benefit hundreds of people. We were able to ship 60,000 servings of Gleaners Soup Mix, boxes of clothing, school supplies, sports equipment and various other relief items.
While much of the aid will go to flood ravaged Gonaives, the aid will also be distributed at orphanages, schools, and other community development projects. The container will take approximately four to six weeks to reach Haiti.
